I HELP BRANDS tell their story visually
Welcome to Grafikmoth portfolio website! My name is Marie, I'm a graphic designer, specialising in brand identity design & illustration. I'm passionate about visual storytelling and how design can influence a brands message and perception.
The design process starts with ACTIVE listening.
The next step is research. This is important in order to understand the market and competitors in a field. The next step is brainstorming in order to come up with original, concept based creative solutions. I value thoughtful, human centric design, which takes the viewer through a visual journey and leaves them with a pleasant surprise. I enjoy working with local entrepreneurs in a touristic area and experiencing first hand how design impacts their business as well as freelancing with clients abroad.
When not designing, I enjoy my time creatively, for example experimenting with different cuisines, or crafting objects for my living space (mostly lamps!). Music provides inspiration during the design process, and the surrounding natural landscape is grounding. Travel boosts creativity, and helps one look at things from a fresh perspective; I’ve been taking photographs and drawing since childhood.
Successful design requires a pinch of passion, and a dash of creativity, a new perspective when interpreting clients’ visual needs and goals, and building strong relationships to provide designs that resonate with their target audience and remain a pleasant surprise for the viewer.
